Difficult to say why the door isn't closing accurately when we see only the key hole
You should give more information on shooting, stitching parameters, how are links and CP's. From some screen captures under APP, nobody will try to steel your job.

Thanx for your help, its not that I am afraid anyone will steal the job but its more that the client will not want their pix posted online.

This is basically a cylindrical 360 shot for a VR tour. It is shot with 1DS Mk II on a Manfrotto 303 setup. Lens use is 17-40mm f4/L on the 17mm end.  The shots are shot on Av Mode with a aperture setting on f/16. Shot 10 pix.

This is basically a hotel ballroom...if anyone who wanna take a look I can email the link. But can't post.

Some ideas:

1. the shots are very underexposed - this may be causing APPs auto CP detection some problems.

2. I suspect you have more overlap than is necessary/desirable - 8-around should be enough.

3. You have some repeating elements  - around the ceiling and a lot of very similar chairs and tables - this often confuses APP's auto CP detection.

4. Are you confident that you have the camera/lens set at the correct NPP?

So use the Control Point Editor to:

1. Remove links between any but adjacent images (ie. image 2 should link to image 1 and image 3 but not to any other images, and so on). Then re-optimise.

This may be enough, but if not then continue with CP Editor to:

2. Review the placement of control points to check they are valid - remove those that are not, add some if you can on parts of the scene further from the camera. Then re-optimise.

This should improve things.

1. These are raw file, and part of bracketed set. but the v1.9 keep crushing. so no choice...i just use the medium exposure ones..and then adjust after the pano is done. Was thinking of doing 3 pano (different exposure), and then photoshop mask and paint to get optimum exposure.

First of all, try using v1.4.2, you should have better luck.  The v1.9 Giga-APPro alpha that is now available has some major bugs.   We're all patiently awaiting for Alexandre to release the next alpha version.  

Second, have you tried to process each set of bracketed images first, and then just using the processed images?
