Hello all,
I'm doing my first panos with APP and I've run into some weird behavior...
In the preview window the pano look fine but when I render it I get a portion of the pano blurred in a weird way (samples attached).
Any ideas?
Current version of APP on Mac OS X, rendered to tiff and jpg with same result. I've turned off auto white balance but otherwise I think the program is at defaults.

Can't see/understand what you are talking about - sorry.
Can you post a reduced size version of the entire pano to put the above pictures in context?
How were your images shot - what camera/lens, did you use a pano head?

I can redo the screen shots if you like but it might help to point out that the top shot is slightly zoomed in--orient yourself with the vine-like growth growth. The top shot has a geometric blurred area...
I've attached a screen shot of the whole image.
To make the image I used a Nikon D300/Zeiss 100mm with a Nodal Ninja III head.
The weird part is that this image was fine on previous renderings (at least as far as the blurred issue)...also, I have several versions of this rock set up and the other panos do not exhibit this issue. Of course, this shot is my favorite of the bunch... ![]()

Further clues:
Looking at the area on the images, it looks like there is a big variation in exposure there. When I change the rendering the match the preview (Bilinear and Linear) it comes out looking ok as far as the blur issue. Not sure why bicubic/smartblend worked before but not now.
Is there any disadvantage with going with bilinear/linear? I'm rendering a full sized image now...
Thanks,

Our blender is not aware yet of out of focus part. So when blending some area where there are several source, sometimes, it just uses out of focus image instead of the one that is in focus. The solution is to paint some little alpha on what you did want ( in images source ).

I'm not sure I understand--I didn't change the focus point for any of the shots--all of the images of that portion of the rock are the same degree out of focus (or in focus)...
In any event, using the bilinear/linear settings seemed to work...
