Red blotches?

I am a new Autopano user...

I'm stitching photos of rocks and some of them contain red blotches (see attached), some do not. The original images are fine. The red blotches appear after stitching in both the preview version in APP and in the final output.

Ideas and solutions welcome!

Thanks,

--Darin

Re: Red blotches?

Hello Darin!

Some questions first...
- which white balance settings while shooting ?
- does sources images include EXIF (aperture and speed) ?
- which Color correction was selected in the Panorama Editor (NONE, LDR, HDR) ?
- I presume you didn't used anchors nor the Levels tool, but if you did wich were the settings

Those red blotches could be the result of a failled attempt to brighten the left part of your pano or to adjust white balance differences between shots but it's not possible to say more when only the result is known...

Re: Red blotches?

Hello Darin,
This should come from the type of anchors you use in color correction mode… But I may be wrong.

You may Post your message in this thread, if you use the same computer and/or the same version of APP

Re: Red blotches?

I'm afraid you are all wrong, this is lava bubbling out from hell gathering before midnight Halloween. Wait several hours, it should go away by itself tongue

It's nine minutes until midnight on Halloween. You might be interested to know that a deep voice is booming out of the interior of the rock saying something about my soul, eternal torment, and color anchors.

Haven't quite figured out that last part.
