Hey,
I'm running vista 32 bit, 4gb memory, 2 core processor and very often batch renderer gives me this error. What gives?

Re: strange error message

This error is the last one in the smartblend code that causes us really nightmares.(t
Causes : Operating system that cannot handles all our requests of file mapped into memory and the OS returns some errors where it should not and make our system crash.
How to prevent that ? Don't do anything else while smartblend is running. Use really fast drives for temporary folder, it accelerates the smartblend and OS tends to crash less.
We're working on a new smartblend for next year with a new cache system that should have that behavior anymore. Nevertheless, it will not come out soon.
