So far, this build really rocks (I use the Mac version on an Core 2 Duo iMac). I don't have a fisheye, so I concentrate on other improvements :
- I also feel that the results are better than with previous versions
- The changes in the UI are also very good (the "rectangular cropping" with transparency is my favorite)
- I like very much the new picture tools, but I feel that one is missing : the ability to crop an individual picture (for the rendering). This can be very useful when something (in fact usually someone) is on one side and not the other, and the blending algorithm cuts it in half (or if you don't want to see that passing seagull on the final rendering)
I also thing that the layered PSD output is broken : I tried it, and I got the layers with the same blended image (cropped to the borders of each individual image)

When appear possibility of the manual placement the control-points (step-by-step)???
automatic mode (cont.pnts) for 'fish-eye' source absolutely not suitable..
(comp.method for CIRCULAR FE - drum)

I tried it on a 409 pictures pano, but it crashed at the start of the detection phase. I forgot to write down the message as I was in a hurry. I reinstalled 1.3.1 alpha 2 : no crash on that one.

the fisheye improvement is massive. I have a 10mm Nikon Fisheye lense and the outcome (I did just some boring indoor panos) is awesome. THX!!

The export to PtGui is available : export to panotools.
Please, do no use this thread to make bug report, there's a sub-forum for that.

Hello,
I would like to test the current alpha (and use the final product later) with Linux. Where can I get a license key for the Linux version?
The shop only lists Windows/Mac?
Is the key OS specific?

Hi !
What about the 'advanced freehand mosaic' mode ? Is this also in the making ? Any timetable ?
After the promising results with APP 1.3 end of last year it would be _really_ nice to see some focus on mosaics !

Could someone please lock the Announcements forum so that only AlexandreJ can post? My heart can't take the "NEW MESSAGES IN ANNOUNCEMENTS" jolt every time I log in.
Hopefully this message will be the last jolt inducing waste of time, and only legitimate jolts will be induced by AlexandreJ the Great posting new and better versions!
